Getting Started

Welcome to Ghostpen. Ghostpen is an autonomous marketing platform for X (Twitter). We generate, schedule, and post content that sounds like you. We reply to influencers, DM new followers, and grow your audience around the clock.

No downloads, no installations, no code. Everything runs in your browser at app.ghostpen.xyz.

Creating Your Account

1. Go to ghostpen.xyz and click "Get Started"
2. Enter your email and create a password
3. Verify your email address
4. You'll be taken to the onboarding wizard

Connecting X

Ghostpen connects to your X account securely via OAuth:

1. During onboarding (or in Settings), click "Connect X Account"
2. You'll be redirected to X to authorize Ghostpen
3. Grant "Read and Write" permissions
4. You'll be redirected back to Ghostpen — your account is connected

Ghostpen never sees your X password. We use industry-standard OAuth 2.0 and store only the authorization tokens, encrypted with AES-256.

During onboarding, you'll configure how Ghostpen creates content for you:

Dashboard Overview

Your dashboard shows:

• Posts sent today vs your daily goal
• Queued posts waiting to go out
• Auto-pilot status (active or paused)
• Today's post feed — everything scheduled and posted today
• Quick actions to access key features

Content Engine

Manually create individual posts:

1. Enter a topic or select from trending topics (auto-refreshed)
2. Choose a content angle: Competitive, Educational, Community, Market Take, etc.
3. Click Generate — Ghostpen writes a tweet in your brand voice
4. Edit if you want, then add to your queue

Auto-Pilot

One button to generate and schedule your entire day:

• Generates 24 unique tweets
• Mixes trending topic reactions with your brand narrative (50/50)
• Spaces them across your active hours
• Attaches branded image cards to select posts
• Every post mentions your brand naturally
• Posts go out automatically in Autonomous mode

Engagement Bot

Automatically engage with influencers and KOLs by tweeting at them about their latest posts:

• Add target accounts to monitor (KOLs, competitors, partners), or pick from the curated KOL directory
• Ghostpen checks their recent tweets every 10 minutes
• Posts a standalone tweet that @mentions them and reacts to what they actually said — written in your brand voice, with a link to their post so it still renders as a card
• Paced to feel human: at most one engagement tweet per 10-minute cycle, and each target is mentioned at most once every 6 hours
• Targets rotate automatically so everyone on your list gets engaged over time
• Toggle between autonomous (auto-posts) and manual (you pick the tweet, review the draft, then post)

DM Automation

Welcome new followers and engaged users with personalized DMs:

• 20 unique message templates that rotate automatically
• Each DM is personalized with the recipient's name and context
• Rate limited: 20/day, 4/hour, 15-minute minimum gap
• Randomized timing (5min to 3hr delay) to feel natural
• Only triggered for quality accounts (100+ followers, 30+ day old)

Thread Builder

Create multi-tweet threads from any topic:

1. Enter a topic
2. Select length (3-7 tweets)
3. Ghostpen generates the full thread
4. Edit individual tweets if needed
5. Schedule the thread

Quote Tweets

Generate quote tweets for viral posts:

1. Paste a tweet URL or text
2. Select your angle
3. Ghostpen generates a quote tweet with your brand perspective
4. Add to queue

Scheduling

Manage your content queue:

• View all queued, pending, posted, and failed posts
• Timeline view shows posts spread across 24 hours
• Approve or reject individual posts
• Bulk approve when in manual mode
• Posts with images show preview thumbnails

Competitor Monitoring

Track what your competitors are posting:

• Add competitor X accounts
• See their recent posts and engagement

Raid Mode

Concentrate engagement on a single important post:

• Enter the tweet URL you want to amplify
• Set a duration
• Ghostpen focuses all engagement on that tweet
• Use sparingly — designed for major announcements (1-2 per week)

Plans & Billing

Ghostpen offers four tiers:

Every new account starts with a 24-hour Free Trial of the content engine — no credit card required. Paid plans can be cancelled anytime.

Billing is handled securely through Stripe. We accept all major credit cards.

$GHOST Token

Not yet launched. $GHOST is a second way to pay for Ghostpen, running alongside card checkout rather than replacing it. Token payments unlock automatically once the token is live; until then every plan is available through Stripe as normal.

What you can buy

• Subscriptions — pay for any tier in $GHOST for 30 days
• 24-hour passes — run the bot for a single day, priced per tier (a day of Growth costs less than a day of Scale)

USD-pegged pricing

Prices are set in dollars. At checkout the live $GHOST rate converts that dollar price into a token amount, so a volatile market never changes what your plan actually costs. Quotes are locked for 90 seconds; if one expires nothing is charged and you simply take a new quote.

50% burned, 50% to treasury

Every payment splits in half. Half is permanently destroyed on-chain, reducing supply with every purchase. The other half funds development and infrastructure.

Non-custodial by design

Ghostpen never holds your tokens and operates no hot wallet. You sign a single transaction containing both halves — the treasury transfer and the burn — so they settle together or not at all. There is no moment where Ghostpen custodies your funds.

How a payment works

1. Connect a Solana wallet (Phantom, Solflare, Coinbase, Trust, and most Wallet Standard wallets)
2. Pick a subscription or a 24-hour pass; Ghostpen issues a quote at the live rate
3. Approve one transaction in your wallet
4. Ghostpen verifies it on-chain — correct token, correct amounts, correct destinations, signed by your wallet — and unlocks your tier

Verification happens entirely server-side against a finalized transaction. Submitting the same transaction twice never grants access twice.

Your security is our priority:

• OAuth 2.0 — we never see your X password
• AES-256 Encryption — all credentials encrypted at rest
• Data Isolation — your data is completely separated from other users
• Rate Limiting — protection against brute force and abuse
• Security Headers — CSP, HSTS, XSS protection on all endpoints
• No Data Sharing — we never sell or share your data
• SOC 2 Compliance — in progress (planned)
